TAY is Taychain's native token, equivalent to ETH on Ethereum or SOL on Solana. It has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 TAY with deflationary tokenomics.
Anyone can create custom tokens on Taychain. TAYUSD for example is a stablecoin, pegged 1:1 to USD to always trade at $1.
